Meeting Schedule
Summit Board of Education Meeting Dates
Summit Board of Education meetings are an ideal opportunity for the public to see its Board at work, discussing issues and making decisions that set the course for the Summit Public Schools. Board meetings are conducted according to the provisions of the state’s Open Public Meetings Act (Sunshine Law).
At these meetings, the Board formally votes on Agenda items. The public is invited to attend the meetings and may address the Board. Towards the beginning of each meeting, public comment to items on the Agenda is first solicited. The public may then address the Board regarding any school issue.
Meetings are typically held on a Thursday evening each month. All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted below. Due to construction at Summit High School, the location of the Board of Education meetings will be at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School in the auditorium.
