How to Communicate With Us…
We, at the Summit Public Schools, welcome the opportunity to hear from you and have an open dialogue regarding issues of education which are important to all of us.
We welcome your attendance at the Board of Education Meetings. Meetings are typically held at Summit High School, beginning at 7pm. A schedule of meeting dates can be found at our Board of Education Meetings and Calendars Page. In September 2017, the BOE Meetings started to be televised LIVE. You can come in person, or tune in to Comcast channel 964 or Verizon channel 28.
At the meetings, please feel free to briefly address Board of Education President, Mr. Rick Hanley, or our Superintendent of Schools, Mr. June Chang, during the Public Discussion portion by first stating your name and home address. Please refer to the policies on addressing the BOE for more information.
Regarding individual issues, questions or concerns involving your child, please first speak with your child’s teacher or guidance counselor. If further discussion is required, contact the school principal. If you have not been able to reach a resolution with the individual teacher or principal, you may contact our Superintendent. He can be reached directly via email at June Chang.
