communication survey

Summit Public Schools distributes an annual Communication Survey to collect data and feedback on current communication practices. In the spring of 2024, both Summit staff members and parents completed the voluntary school-based survey. Below are the links to the staff, parent, and Spanish results from the 2024 survey.

communication channels in the district

We welcome the opportunity to hear from you and have an open dialogue regarding topics related to education, which are important to all of us.

We welcome your attendance at the Board of Education Meetings. Meetings are typically held monthly at Summit High School, beginning at 6:30 pm. A schedule of meeting dates can be found at our Board of Education Meetings Page.

Regarding individual issues, questions, or concerns involving your child, please first speak with your child’s teacher or guidance counselor. If further discussion is required, contact the school principal. If you have not been able to reach a resolution with the individual teacher or principal, you may contact the Superintendent.

Please check our district website regularly for daily updates on the exciting happenings within the schools. If there is information you cannot find, please feel free to email Laurene Dickinson, who will be happy to direct you to the appropriate source.

To be added to our email distribution list, please email your contact information to Laurene Dickinson, at ldickinson@summit.k12.nj.us.
