Health Services

Ann Zanelli holding award

Congratulations to District Nurse Coordinator and Franklin School Nurse, Ann Zanelli, for being awarded 2021-2022 Union County School Nurse of the Year!

Welcome to Summit Public Schools District Health Services

The district's health policies, regulations and guidelines are developed in accordance with the school laws and regulations of New Jersey. The primary purpose of school health services is to advance the overall health and well-being of our students to support learning and academic success.

The Summit Health Services program consists of a team of health professionals, including a full time certified school nurse in each building and a school physician who serves as a consultant.

New Lice Policy approved by Board of Education on April 19, 2018. (English) (Spanish)

Please click on the Summit School Nurses tab in the directory on the right to find the Nurse at your school. You will then find a link that will take you directly to the School Nurses page in that building. Our Parent Links page offers health resources and the latest information to keep you informed on your child's health and well-being. Please contact the school nurse at your child's school if your child has any special health concern or issue.
