With the recent announcement of the district going all remote beginning 12/18/20, the meal distribution plan is going to be similar to the spring.
The primary function of the Business Office is to ensure efficient operations and management of the district's resources in a fiscally responsible manner that allows success of the district's overall mission.
All operational issues under the purview of the Business Administrator are conducted with a strict adherence to the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as all applicable laws and regulations as set forth by the New Jersey Administrative Code and Statutes governing school finance, purchasing, facilities, transportation, risk insurance management and food service.
Our team provides oversight and direction related to these operational functions in addition to strategic planning, budgeting and financial planning, purchasing, facilities, and safety & security in an effort to support the Superintendent in the task of providing leadership in developing, achieving, and maintaining the best possible educational programs and services for the students of Summit.
I invite you to use the provided links in order to gain valuable insight into the business office services as well as useful information on various activities.

Louis J. Pepe, RSBA, SFO Assistant Superintendent/CFO
