Directions

• Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 142 (toll road).

• This exit puts you on Route 78 East. Follow sign for Route 78 West turnaround that takes you up and over 78 and then immediately back down to be on 78 West.

• Take Route 78 West for approximately 7-8 miles.

• Follow sign for Route 24 West to the right.

• Stay on Route 24 West to the Summit Avenue exit.

• Exit here and turn left at the light. (You are now on Summit Avenue/)

• Continue on Summit Avenue until you reach Morris Avenue (third light).

• Make right onto Morris Avenue.

• Continue to light at intersection of Morris Avenue and Springfield Avenue. (Shell station will be on your left; city hall will be on your right.) Enter left-turn-only lane.

• Make left onto Springfield Avenue

• Continue four blocks to Fairview Avenue. Make right onto Fairview.

• Continue straight to end of Fairview Avenue to intersection with Beekman Road.

• Make left onto Beekman Road.

• Continue to third street on left, Beekman Terrace.

• Make left turn into Beekman Terrace. Continue to end of paved street.

• Make left into parking lot.

• Entrance to board offices is at far right door marked "Summit Public Schools, Administrative Offices, Board of Education.” Press buzzer; you will be admitted to building by the receptionist.

• Make left onto Springfield Avenue

• Continue four blocks to Fairview Avenue. Make right onto Fairview.

• Continue straight to end of Fairview Avenue to intersection with Beekman Road.

• Make left onto Beekman Road.

• Continue to third street on left, Beekman Terrace.

• Make left turn into Beekman Terrace. Continue to end of paved street.

• Make left into parking lot.

• Entrance to board offices is at far right door marked "Summit Public Schools, Administrative Offices, Board of Education.” Press buzzer; you will be admitted to building by the receptionist.

• Take Rt. 78 East to exit #45 (Glenside Avenue, Summit).

• Make a left turn on Glenside Avenue, follow for approximately 1.5 miles to intersection of Glenside Avenue and Baltusrol Road.

• Make a left turn at the stop sign, continuing to the traffic light at Morris Avenue.

• Turn left onto Morris Avenue, going uphill. (You will pass Overlook Hospital on your right. A few blocks further, Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School will be on your left. A few more blocks, and St. Teresa’s Church will be on your left.).

• Continue to light at intersection of Morris Avenue and Springfield Avenue. (Shell station will be on your left; city hall will be on your right.) Enter left-turn-only lane.

• Make left onto Springfield Avenue

• Continue four blocks to Fairview Avenue. Make right onto Fairview.

• Continue straight to end of Fairview Avenue to intersection with Beekman Road.

• Make left onto Beekman Road.

• Continue to third street on left, Beekman Terrace.

• Make left turn into Beekman Terrace. Continue to end of paved street.

• Make left into parking lot.

• Entrance to board offices is at far right door marked "Summit Public Schools, Administrative Offices, Board of Education.” Press buzzer; you will be admitted to building by the receptionist.

• From either north or south, take Turnpike Exit 14 - look for Route 78 West.

• Go West on 78, in local lanes, which are to the right. When Route 78 veers to the left, stay to the right for Route 24 West.

• Stay on Route 24 West to the Summit Avenue exit.

• Exit here and turn left at the light. (You are now on Summit Avenue/)

• Continue on Summit Avenue until you reach Morris Avenue (third light).

• Make right onto Morris Avenue.

• Continue to light at intersection of Morris Avenue and Springfield Avenue. (Shell station will be on your left; city hall will be on your right.) Enter left-turn-only lane.

• Make left onto Springfield Avenue

• Continue four blocks to Fairview Avenue. Make right onto Fairview.

• Continue straight to end of Fairview Avenue to intersection with Beekman Road.

• Make left onto Beekman Road.

• Continue to third street on left, Beekman Terrace.

• Make left turn into Beekman Terrace. Continue to end of paved street.

• Make left into parking lot.

• Entrance to board offices is at far right door marked "Summit Public Schools, Administrative Offices, Board of Education.” Press buzzer; you will be admitted to building by the receptionist.

• From Route 287, take Exit 37 to NJ-24E toward I-78 E/ Springfield.

• From Rt. NJ-24E, take Exit 7, JFK Parkway, toward River Road.

• Merge onto CR-649 S (River Road).

• Continue on River Road. You’ll pass the Broadway Diner on your left and, further along, Merck on your left.

• At the Shell Station (which will be on your right), turn left onto CR-649, Passaic Avenue, following sign for New Providence.

• Continue along Passaic Avenue. Pass through lighted intersection with Kent Place Boulevard, go under two railroad overpasses.

• Turn left at Beekman Road.

• Go three blocks. Turn right at second turn into Beekman Terrace. (First turn into Beekman Terrace has a “Dead End” sign.)

• Go to end of paved road on Beekman Terrace. Turn left into parking lot.

• Entrance to board offices is at far right door marked "Summit Public Schools, Administrative Offices, Board of Education.” Press buzzer; you will be admitted to building by the receptionist.
