Hoops for Humanity!

On Thursday, March 1st, 2018, Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School will be hosting its annual Hoops for Humanity basketball game. The purpose of Hoops for Humanity is to bring the school together to raise money for a worthy cause by participating in a students vs. faculty basketball game. We have also extended an invitation to the Summit Police Department to play on our faculty team. LCJSMS is excited to announce that this year, all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Hoops for Humanity will be collecting donations through the Relay for Life link here.

Please know that this link is solely for the collection of monetary donations and that 100% of any donation will go directly to this year's student-selected charity, the American Cancer Society. If you choose to make a donation during our fundraising period, know that there are no Relay for Life requirements. We are all excited about LCJSMS's March 1st Hoops for Humanity event.

LCJSMS will be offering t-shirt sales, a half court shot raffle, a 6th grade player raffle, and cash donations. This event is open to students at LCJSMS, their families, and community members. Tickets are on sale during student lunch periods for $5. Each penny that is raised by the school will go directly to the American Cancer Society. If you cannot make it to our event, the American Cancer Society has created this digital page for donations. Help us in reaching our fundraising goals and making Hoops for Humanity a great success for Summit!
