Summit Public Schools now uses an online school registration system. This system allows us to reduce waste and to quickly process student registrations so that we can efficiently provide the services and educational program your child needs.

In addition to registering new students, each year the district requires parents to re-register existing students so that we obtain the most current information for your children.

Returning Student Re-Registration

Use this type of registration for re-registering children that have previously been enrolled in Summit Public Schools. You will need SNAP Codes for each child that you re-register. If you do not have a SNAP code for any of your children, contact us at registration@summit.k12.nj.us

What information do I need to have ready?

For all registrations, you should be prepared to enter things such as:

  • Emergency contacts (up to 3) and their phone numbers
  • Allergy information
  • Heath conditions
  • Physician name, address, and phone number
  • Dentist name, address, and phone number

What if I do not re-register my student?

If you do not complete the online registration, your child may not get the services that he or she needs. In addition, critical technology accounts and/or devices may need to be withheld until we receive agreements for our district policies.

The re-registration process provides us crucial information about our child's health and overall educational needs.
